When the eternal spiritual search begins, people or spiritual seekers get divided into 2 main categories:

#1 - These people enter spirituality totally out of curiosity and because life gave them the push in ways they didn't want. But as soon as they get in, they gather more theory, mumbo-jumbo and word-wizardry here and there than actual practice.

They jump from one spiritual book and theory to another. From one famous guru’s words to another. One spiritual concept on one social media account to another social media account.

They just desperately want some Grand Experience but don't have discipline to follow through some methods.

The moment they see a social chance, even when drinking or doing drugs and all, they will use all their theoretical knowledge to prove someone they’re right.

But when things get tough in life they will fall off. Now all they have is theory, no experience of anything that's above and beyond. And they fall in a loop that they couldn't get out of.

Let's call them – Wannabes!

#2 - These people start as Wannabe’s. But somehow their eyes open a little. They realize this theory ain't taking them anywhere.

And no matter what words anyone says, be it a Famous Spiritual Leader for the Past or Present or some books that have spiritual wisdom, nothing is really quenching their thirst unless they experience it to the fullest.

They know these spiritual social talks mean nothing unless they experience it firsthand.

Other than that, these are simply words that are floating in the air. A ‘Fugazi’ you can say.

And they know The Media and Social Culture and Society has already brainwashed them into a specific way and theme of thinking that their mind recycles again and again on surface keeping them chained to it emotionally and psychologically. Acting like a Veil. Not able to see beyond.

They come to realize, a teacher with great depth in methods, combined with discipline, courage and patience from their side is necessary.

They know a thing or any given situation doesn't have just 2 sides, it has way too many, and they need to see it from all sides before believing or disbelieving anything.

They are truthful inside with their strengths and weaknesses and know they need proper guidance, methods and retreats, and know things that are TRUE don't come easy. There's a price to pay.

And once they get methods and sadhana to follow, they throw themselves totally into it without looking back.

If mastery is done over that method, something phenomenal and other worldly truly opens.

These people are whom I call Realists.
